Research Fellowship

Qualified candidates are expected to have met/achieved the following criteria:
- At least a PhD or higher;
- Authored or co-authored at least 3 ISI publications1 within the last 5 years;
- Have had scientific reputation properly assessed through the H-index2 coefficient at 3 or higher;
- Established a research plan in collaboration with UEH over a period of 3-5 years;
- Possess good morale, integrity, transparency, fairness, objectivity and high sense of responsibility
- Knowledgeable in all legal aspects and possess satisfactory level of expertise in research as required with scientific studies duties.
- Will be provided sufficient information and tools to ensure proper research conduct in accordance with UEH’s environment and conditions
- Will receive priority to utilize all necessary facilities, equipment and tools for training, research and technological collaboration purposes
- Compensation will be made according to the labor contract, in full and in accordance with work completion/performance evaluation. The amount will be dependent on UEH existing internal policies on all employees.
- To participate in all workshops, scientific seminars organized by UEH as the moderator, debater (if any);
- To participate in all scientific review committee activities of all levels at UEH (if any);
- To participate in all thematic reporting activities on research methodologies organized by the Department of Research Management and International Relations (if any);
- To participate in highly-specialized research groups at UEH (if any);
- To participate in conducting all scientific research of all levels organized by UEH (if any);
- To guide and advise research students in accordance with the suggestions from the Department of Research Management and International Relations;
- To participate in carrying out the ranking and evaluation surveys for UEH when invited;
- To participate in all scientific research activities in accordance with the suggestions of relevant departments and of the Department of Research Management and International Relations.

[1] a) For the field of Sciences & Engineering: Any and all journals listed in SCI (Science Citation Index) and SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded), categorized and selected by the Institute for Scientific Information USA.
b) For the field of Social Sciences & Humanities: Any and all journals listed in AHCI (Arts and Humanities Citation Index) or SSCI (Social Science Citation Index, categorized and selected by the Institute for Scientific Information USA.
[2] Is the index of a scientist/researcher whose H number of works out of N are cited H times, and (N-H) are cited fewer than H times. For instance, if a scientist has an H index = 20, this means that the scientist has had 20 studies, each of which has been cited at least 20 times.
